Entourage star Kevin Dillon is now a Celtic fan, Gianni Capaldi has confirmed with a social media post this morning.
Capaldi, who has taken part in charity matches at Celtic Park and is a well-known supporter of the club, took to Twitter earlier to declare ‘victory’, the catchphrase of Dillon’s character Johnny Drama in the hit HBO show.
The duo are filming the new Bruce Willis bank heist film A Day To Die across the Atlantic and clearly the subject of Celtic has come up when the cameras aren’t rolling.
Dillon, brother of fellow actor Matt, found his biggest success as part of the Entourage main cast, a show which ran from 2004 to 2011 on HBO. It spawned a film of the same name in 2015.
He has also starred in Best Picture Oscar winner Platoon, as well as having a prominent role in another Oliver Stone flick The Doors.
Capaldi doesn’t hide his love for the Hoops on social media and, apparently, he loves promoting the club within his acting circles too!
There are of course many famous Celtic fans, casual or otherwise.
No doubt those who remember and enjoyed Entourage will get a kick out of seeing this photo of one of the show’s most entertaining characters in Celtic gear.
In other news, Neil Lennon has been speaking about Eddie Howe arriving at Celtic.
