Celtic know who must be beaten if Neil Lennon’s side are to make another Scottish Cup final this May.
The Bhoys have been drawn against Aberdeen in the semi-final of the competition after the two teams beat St Johnstone and St Mirren this weekend.
With a place against the well-supported Hibernian or Hearts waiting in the final, it’s set to be an exciting end to this season’s tournament for whoever progresses.
The fixture is a repeat of last season’s semi-final when Lennon’s men thrashed Derek McInnes’ outfit 3-0.
James Forrest, Odsonne Edouard and Tom Rogic all scored to punish an ill-disciplined Aberdeen, who had two players sent off.
Aberdeen have only managed to win one encounter between the two sides since our current run of trebles began in 2016 and that came in a rather meaningless fixture back in May 2018.
We’ve beaten them four times at Hampden in that time period.
Not much of a surprise then that some of their supporters aren’t exactly thrilled with the idea of facing us again, feeling that perhaps any hopes they had of winning silverware this season have faded.

Lennon will hammer home into his players that nothing can be taken for granted though. Everyone is well aware that things can quickly turn bad at Hampden in a knockout fixture.
Aberdeen are a physical and proud side who will be desperate to provide joy to their travelling support.
If Celtic are to best McInnes’ team again then it will take full focus and application, regardless of the perception of who are favourites.
