Packie Bonner reckons Celtic have to come up with a solution for when teams put them under pressure.
Neil Lennon’s men bowed out of the Europa League last night after going down 4-2 on aggregate to Copenhagen.
Former Hoops keeper Bonner doesn’t think the Danes were anything special, but they did know how to unsettle us.
“The challenge is when teams really press them and you’ve got to give credit to Copenhagen and the way they set up their system,” Bonner said, as reported by the BBC.
“They weren’t a great team by any means creatively, but what they did was put Celtic under pressure and Celtic have got to come up with some solutions about what to do when teams do that against them.
“They won’t find that too often within Scotland, but in the big games they might.”

Bonner is right. Not many teams in Scotland have the ability to keep up an intense press throughout the 90 minutes of a match against us.
That’s why we invariably win every match we win, with a few exceptions.
Games against Rangers have followed a similar path to last night, to the extent where you wouldn’t be totally surprised if the Danes had modelled their approach on the Ibrox side.
And it will give lots of Celtic fans a bit of fear going into next month’s clash at Ibrox.
Yes, we’re 12 points clear and looking very good for another title. We’ve shown a consistency that no other Scottish team is capable of.
But in one off games, we can often be unsettled. And that would be a big worry ahead of our trip to Govan.
Perhaps the solution to beating the press is by playing two up front. We certainly looked more of a threat when Leigh Griffiths entered the fray last night.
Griffiths gave us a far better option in behind, with his runs stretching the game and creating more room for the likes of Odsonne Edouard and Tom Rogic.
Whatever the case, and whatever you think about Rangers, Neil Lennon and his coaching team have a job on their hands to come up with a system for these big one off matches.
