Paulo Bernardo and Marco Tilio were both in Celtic training on Thursday.
The pair, brought to the club this summer, are yet to make their debuts under Brendan Rodgers. But that could change very soon.
Tilio has been a Celtic player almost two months longer than Bernardo, having joined in early July. However, he arrived from Melbourne City with an injury and has been recovering ever since.
Bernardo was signed on loan from Benfica on the final day of the window. After going away with the Portugal under-21 side he was back at Lennoxtown on Thursday.

Following that, they were then keen to share the photos to their own Instagram Stories, as has become the custom with Celtic’s first-team stars. The posts will be a welcome sight to Celtic fans waiting patiently on their debuts.

The Portuguese midfielder seems to be in good condition having come through two 90-minute matches for his country’s under-21s during the break.

Brendan Rodgers’ confirmed Tilio’s status at his Thursday press conference, saying that he’s now “just just waiting for the right moment” to bring him in after he missed all of pre-season.
So the Aussie may not quite be ready for this weekend, but his debut shouldn’t be far away. Saturday could be the day for Bernardo to enter the action.
