Former Celtic hero Chris Sutton has shared an image after he and Henrik Larsson were reunited in London.
The pair were both guests at the Celtic Foundation‘s Annual Gala Dinner in London. The event took place on Friday evening, and while we don’t know a great deal about what went on, we know some iconic Hoops heroes were in attendance.
A social media post from the Foundation showed Larsson with another Hoops great — Kenny Dalglish. “King Kenny. King of Kings,” they wrote alongside a photo of the pair with microphones in their hands. (@FoundationCFC on Twitter)
Between them, they netted 409 goals for Celtic — Larsson got 242 and Dalglish 167. (Celtic Wiki)
Sutton, who managed 86 for us, was also in attendance and shared his own photo with his former team-mate.
“A great evening with the King,” he wrote. And it must have been a late one with the post going out just before 2:30am. (@chris_sutton73 on Twitter)
It’s great to see both guys looking so happy and healthy, even if Sutton could probably do with unbuttoning his blazer. It must have been a real treat for everyone in attendance to see Larsson, Sutton, Dalglish and more and bask in all things Celtic.
As always with Foundation events, the real winner will be charity. The charitable arm of our club have raised so much money over the years.
Even in recent times, they’ve had New York events, a testimonial dinner and match for James Forrest, a charity fixture against Liverpool at Anfield, and more.

The work they do is sensational and it’s great that so many of our current and former players buy into it all. It’s what being at Celtic is all about.
