TV host Piers Morgan has had his predictable say on former Celtic defender Kieran Tierney.
The Arsenal supporter likes what he is seeing so far on the Scotland international. Tierney joined Morgan’s beloved Arsenal right at the end of the summer transfer window for £25 million.
Despite the move being a huge disappointment for the Hoops faithful, at least others are seeing what he’s made of.

Tierney left the Hoops in order to prove to his doubters that he can perform outside of Glasgow.

In fact, Morgan would predictably fall into that category if Tierney was still wearing the green and white. Nevertheless, the unpopular journalist turned morning TV host likes the look of the 22-year-old.
Tierney made his debut in the English Premier League last night for Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium. Despite throwing away a two goal lead against Crystal Palace, Tierney stood out from the rest of the pack.
This prompted Morgan to Tweet: “This kid looks the real deal.”
Tierney is clearly still fighting for full fitness hence his substitution in the second half. Once he is up to speed, he will be firing on all cylinders and not just domestically.
Scotland international getting rave reviews down south
It isn’t just Morgan that is raving about Tierney after his Premier League debut last night. The English press and the fans are loving him too.

The Mirror called his debut ‘solid’ and the blame couldn’t be at his feet for the two Palace goals. While The Sun are even more positive by saying “he looks as if he’s been at the club for years.”

The fans gave an ‘almighty’ cheer when his name was read out before the match.
They gave him an even bigger one as he went off, so the Arsenal fans are taking to him right away. However, as said before, they have probably only seen half the player he is going to be so far.
