Rock band Primal Scream appear to be enjoying the prospect of Celtic winning nine-in-a-row this season, sending out a tweet to their followers earlier today.

Lead singer Bobby Gillespie is a well known Celtic fan and a supporter on Twitter had sent in art of the rock star wearing the famous green and white of the reigning Scottish Premiership champions, which was subsequently quoted by the band’s account.

Currently 13 points ahead of second-placed Rangers, Neil Lennon’s Bhoys are on the cusp of bringing home another league title.

The SPFL have voted to end the season on an average points basis if action cannot resume, meaning that Celtic could be awarded with the trophy without kicking another ball.

Manager Neil Lennon has stressed today that it’s his preference matches are played to a conclusion.

However it all shakes out over the coming weeks and months, there is no question it will be a deserved title win and Gillespie looks set to enjoy it as much as any other Hoops fan.
