Celtic fans have been chanting ‘sack the board’ outside Celtic Park today ahead of the Scottish Premiership match against Kilmarnock.

As we discussed earlier, the first photos of today’s gathering at the stadium hav emerged online, now the video is following.

Twitter user @parkhead_rebel is in attendance and posted video footage of the protest to the social media site this lunchtime.

The team’s poor form of late has sparked wider dissatisfaction with the overall direction of the club and, while those outside the stadium are willing to back the team, they’re looking to ‘sack the board’.

A new dawn beckons for Celtic in Europe, as Joe Hart shows his class once again

It comes ahead of a club AGM tomorrow when the spotlight will be put on club officials such as Chief Executive Peter Lawwell and the club’s largest shareholder Dermot Desmond.

We’ve put together a guide to the most urgent questions that they need to answer on 67 Hail Hail this weekend.

Issues such as post-2020/21 planning, the role of Lawwell, communication with supporters and the added value of this term’s season tickets should all be on the agenda.

Whether the pressure today pays off or makes a serious point to the club board remains to be seen.

It’s not as if Celtic have been willing to listen to fans much of late.
