In the absence of any meaningful football, one of the biggest talking points of last week were the images of a man in a Celtic shirt doing the tour of Ibrox.

The bizarre images of the man were also mirrored at Parkhead where he entered the stadium in a Rangers jersey.

Social media went into meltdown as fans tried to work out what had happened and why it had happened. Now it has all been cleared up by a YouTube video posted by the account Ultimate Bucket List – featuring the man in question.

Everything is clarified in the video as Ninh Ly visits both grounds and takes in the reaction inside the stadium.

Celtic Park reaction was much more hospitable

The difference in reaction between both clubs is stark. Ly receives a very ominous reaction at Ibrox as many fans, and what looks like a club employee, point out that he’s wearing a Celtic shirt. “You want to do the tour wearing that?” one says.

Meanwhile, at Celtic Park he receives a much more chilled out reaction and even a round of applause from some of those taking part in the tour.

It seems like Celtic have once again lived up to the reputation of ‘a club open to all’. Sadly they same can’t be said for our rivals across the city.
