Arsenal are set to make a new and improved bid for Kieran Tierney, according to reports.
The Telegraph say that the London side will make a new bid of around £18million for the 22-year-old left-back. Celtic are said to want nearer to £25million for Tierney, however the Gunners hope that they can swing the deal with their next offer.

Unai Emery’s side had a £15million bid rejected last week but will return again. Celtic could reject that further bid however there is a feeling that a compromise will be reached eventually.
Tierney is contracted until May 2023 and has featured 170 times for Celtic since making his debut in 2015.

Tierney is likely to leave this summer
Some Celtic fans will already have come to terms with Tierney leaving the club. The Scotland international has been a magnificent servant over the past four years and will depart as one of the club’s favourite sons.
There was a nice notion not too long ago that Tierney would be a one-club-man but the reality is that those kind of players don’t exist anymore. For all of his wonderful ability on the pitch, Celtic would be foolish not to cash in when the time comes.

That time looks like it may be this summer with a massive club like Arsenal clearly interested. Noises coming from both north and south of the border suggest a deal is likely. It’s now time to come to terms with it.
Celtic must just look to get the best deal possible for our prized asset. We clearly think he’s worth £25million and should do everything in our power to get that. The defender still has four years on his contract and won’t exactly be seeking a move away, making this an unique case.
If Tierney does go, we could use his fee alone to rebuild the squad. As sad as it would be to see him leave, that can’t be a bad thing.
