Liverpool goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher could be allowed to leave on loan this summer, and that could be of interest to Celtic.
A tweet from transfer guru Fabrizio Romano on Wednesday afternoon stated that Kelleher could look for more regular game time next season, away from Anfield.
Romano says there are “many clubs” showing interest in the Republic of Ireland keeper.

There was no specific mention of Celtic, or any other club, in Romano’s tweet and it’s important to note that.
However, Celtic’s name was mentioned in a speculative report from The Transfer Room about the goalkeeper in early March.
At the time, we chose not to run the story as a potential valuation of £30million was mentioned.
However, if Kelleher does depart Anfield on loan, perhaps that is something that could work to our advantage.
Of course, we have a pretty popular goalkeeper currently in Joe Hart.
There are no suggestions that Ange Postecoglou wants to overhaul the position in the summer. But it’s always nice to speculate.

Kelleher signed a new long-term contract with Liverpool in 2021, so it seems like a permanent move would be out of the reckoning for the time being.
Ange tends to want a future-buy clause with most loans as we saw with the likes of Cameron Carter-Vickers and Jota.
That may make a move unlikely. But, nevertheless, it will be interesting to keep an eye on where Kelleher ends up in the summer.
