Celtic and co will be consulted on any contingency plans to end the current campaign, according to the BBC.
The news outlet has stated that all 42 clubs took part in a meeting on Monday morning. This led to an agreement that all of them should be consulted on any further plans to call the current campaign.
The BBC say that the SPFL aims to provide a fresh strategy for titles, promotions and relegations should there be yet another curtailment of Scottish football like there was back in March. Clubs will be asked a variety of questions regarding their views.

It has also been reported by the BBC that a formal ballot will only take place if there is a consensus of similar opinion.
The 2019/20 campaign was called during lockdown after the SPFL put forward a ballot on whether to end the campaign or not. However, it appears that there will now be a consulation process involving all senior clubs from the Premiership down to League Two.
The summer events kept us entertained, but there’s now a need for structure
Watching Rangers roaring and crying about losing nine-in-a-row was pretty funny over the summer. It was a way to keep us entertained during the nationwide lockdown that was in place.
Having a clear consultation process should lead to a lot less bad blood – especially if ballots won’t be put forward unless there is widespread agreement on it.
The main thing here is that every club will have their voice heard should we need to call the season. It will be interesting to see if certain clubs change their mind should they find themselves in a more favourable position to last year.
Not that we want them to even be spoken to of course. It would be a lot more morale-boosting for us all if we were able to just keep pressing ahead with the season and end this 10-in-a-row season on the pitch.
That doesn’t mean that clubs will always agree. There will undoubtedly still be plenty of bitterness and infighting. But they will be able to say that they’ve been given a voice before any motion is pushed through by the SPFL. That’s important.
From a Celtic perspective, we can’t be bothered with any more mudslinging and paranoid nonsense from certain rivals. Hopefully, this process goes a long way to halting that.
In other news, the AC Milan boss has sent a grim warning to Celtic as he outlined their big ambitions this season.
