Celtic have confirmed the proposed route for an open top bus celebration if they win the Scottish Cup. Celtic Park is out of action on the 25th of May due to the final of the Pro14 rugby, meaning that the procession will have to take a different route to last year.
The Evening Times are reporting that Glasgow City Council have granted permission for the parade which will travel through the centre of the city following the match.
If the Hoops are successful then the bus will leave Hampden at 6:15pm. It will travel along Cathcart Road, Cumberland Street, Crown Street, Saltmarket and the Gallowgate before finishing up on Barrack Street.
Thousands of fans will once again be expected to line the streets to cheer on their heroes.

History beckons
It may all seem a bit doom and gloom at Celtic right now but things will soon change. The derby defeat to Rangers will be the furthest thing from our minds come the 25th of May. If the players do as expected and win the trophy then they will have sealed more history for the club.

A treble treble would be celebrated like few Celtic achievements in history. The party would start from full-time at the National Stadium and last well into the following week. The news could get even better with the board expected to appoint a new manager during the week after the final.
A blockbuster appointment could signal the end of one of the finest weeks in Celtic’s long and proud history.
