Ranieri is certainly an intriguing candidate. He will go down in history as the man who led Leicester City to the Premier League title in 2016.

Since then however, his career has gone off the rails.

He was sacked by Leicester less than a year after winning the league. That was followed up by short spells at Nantes, Fulham and his current club Roma.

However, it now seems that his time at Roma is coming to an end, and his next stop could be at Celtic Park.

Ranieri certainly has the experience. He has managed some huge clubs, like Chelsea, Atletico Madrid and Juventus.

Managing in Scotland wouldn’t hold any fears for him. The only worry is that since Leicester he has had a hard time holding down jobs.

It will be interesting to see what Ranieri’s next step in the game will be. Who knows, it might be at Celtic Park.
