The transfer saga between Celtic and David Turnbull has certainly taken many twists and turns. The most recent came when the Daily Record revealed that the £3.25 million deal was in doubt due to issues arising following the player’s medical.
However, the Scottish Sun is reporting that despite the issue, the player is ‘confident’ that the deal will still go ahead.
Talks are reportedly ongoing

The report goes on to reveal that talks are ongoing between Celtic and Motherwell to find a solution to the issue.
It is good to hear that Turnbull remains confident about the deal. The delay in the deal being completed must be very frustrating to the player.

It is a big move for Celtic, Motherwell and the player. Therefore, it is not surprising that they are being cautious over the deal. Particularly if a medical issue could stop the deal going through.
Decision has to be made sooner than later

A decision will have to be made on the Turnbull deal sooner rather than later. No doubt that is what the reported talks between Celtic and Motherwell will be about.
Hopefully when all is said and done, Turnbull will become a Celtic player.
He looks to have all the attributes needed to become a success for the Hoops. We might have to wait awhile yet though to find out if he will actually become a Celtic player.
