Young Celtic star, Ewan Otoo has agreed to join Dunfermline according to a report in the Daily Record [11:10].
Otoo spent the last few months of the 2023 season on loan at The Pars where he made 11 appearances for the League One side after joining them in February.
The 20-year-old’s contribution helped James McPake’s side to the title and now looks forward to playing in the Scottish Championship.

In 2019 the young defender signed a two-year deal with the Hoops after initially catching the club’s attention when playing for Eastwood Boys Club.
Otoo made an impression at the Under-17 level before moving up to Tommy McIntyre’s Reserves. Otoo is qualified to represent Ghana and has played for Scotland at youth level.

Otoo’s contract has one year left to run and it is not known if there is any transfer fee involved in the deal.
Pars manager is a keen admired of Otoo. After capturing him on loan, McPake said of the young defender, “He is a good player, a great kid, and he is not somebody that I don’t know.
“I didn’t know him personally but he played against my youth team [at Dundee] and I had watched him plenty.” [Glasgow Times]
The deal to take Otoo to Fife will be completed after the young defender returns from his holiday.
We wish young Ewan well in his new venture at Dunfermline and hopefully, we may well see him line up against as soon enough should he help gain The Pars promotion next season.
