Former Celtic man Jonny Hayes has already found a new club just weeks after being released by the Hoops following the expiration of his contract, The Daily Mail report.
The paper say he will sign a two-year deal with Scottish Premiership side Aberdeen on Monday, three years after he departed Pittodrie for Glasgow.
It’s reported that they beat English Championship outfit Reading to his signature.
Hayes won multiple trophies at Celtic, including three league titles, despite never really cementing himself as a regular starter in either Brendan Rodgers’ or Neil Lennon’s side.
Still he was a useful utility player and seemed to relish that role under Lennon last term, most memorably scoring in a 2-0 victory at Ibrox.
Hayes made over 200 appearances for the Dons prior to making the switch to Celtic and will no doubt be an important player in their team next season as they look to become a force at the top end of the table again.
The wide man was a hard worker and a popular player with some sections of the support so it’s pleasing to see him land a club so quickly, especially in the midst of a financially uncertain pandemic.

It’s unlikely he’ll ever forget his status as a nine-in-a-row winner at Celtic and away from Aberdeen’s own ambitions next season would no doubt be delighted to see his former teammates lift number ten.
Good luck Jonny!
