Celtic midfielder Matt O’Riley is reportedly attracting interest from European giants such as Borussia Dortmund, Liverpool, and Manchester United [ESPN].
The 21-year-old has only spent eight months at Parkhead, having joined from English League One side MK Dons in January.
However, the midfielder put in some impressive performances during that time, helping Ange Postecoglou’s side to the Scottish Premiership title last campaign.

Earlier in the summer window, it was reported that English Premier League side Leicester City were keeping a watchful eye on the Danish under-21 internationalist.
It now appears that several sides from across Europe have joined the Foxes in doing just that, with a report from ESPN stating that O’Riley is attracting the attention of clubs, including Borussia Dortmund, Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United.
The report also states that a potential late move in the transfer window could arrive for the midfielder, with Leicester and Newcastle United being the two sides most likely to try and make their move for O’Riley.
Not only is their further interest from south of the border, but also in Europe, with Wolfsburg and Lille having been quoted as recently scouting O’Riley.
However, Celtic reportedly have “no interest” in losing the talented midfielder, who is going to play a big role in Postecoglou’s side once again this season.
O’Riley also doesn’t appear to be in any rush to leave Celtic after previously stating in an interview that he is loving life in Glasgow at Parkhead.

Interest in O’Riley will only grow if midfielder has a big part to play in Celtic’s Champions League outings.
With lots of interest arriving for O’Riley just under a year into his time as a Celtic player, it just goes to show how big a talent the Hoops have at their disposal.
This season, the midfielder will be able to display those exploits in the world’s most prestigious club competition, and I’m sure plenty more teams will be watching closely.
It wouldn’t come as a surprise to Celtic supporters if we were to see O’Riley put in more impressive performances against Real Madrid, RB Leipzig and Shakhtar Donestk in the coming months.
When the midfielder does eventually depart Celtic Park, he is likely to demand a huge fee, and that could continue to grow if he impresses in the Champions League.
Personally, I cannot wait to see this talented side, including O’Riley, perform at the highest level and potentially provide a few shocks along the way.
