Interim Celtic manager Neil Lennon is undecided on his future with the club, according to a report. The Daily Mail has disclosed that Lennon is ‘assessing’ his future with the Scottish champions.
The report goes on to reveal that Celtic will make a decision about Lennon’s future with the club following the Scottish Cup Final over Hearts.
Lennon’s reputation amongst the fans took a bit of a blow following Celtic’s insipid performance in the recent 2-0 defeat to Rangers.
Fulfilled his remit

However, that was his first loss since taking over in an interim basis from Brendan Rodgers. Lennon has fulfilled his remit at the club, guiding the Hoops to the league title.
The performances have not been great under Lennon though. The Hoops have struggled to impose themselves on games.

Performances must improve
Despite this, Celtic do still have a chance to create history and win a third domestic treble in a row. Going into next season though, performances must improve.

The Hoops will be going for nine in a row next season, and no distractions are required. Therefore, the identity of the next manager must be revealed as soon as possible.
The Celtic board can’t afford to get the next managerial appointment wrong. Fans will not forgive if the league isn’t won next season.
Lennon’s reported indecision only adds to the pressure on the board to get the decision right.
