Rangers have confirmed that both Aaron Ramsey and Kemar Roofe will miss out on the next three games, ruling them out of the final Glasgow derby of the season.

The two players have featured in the previous two derby fixtures at the beginning of March and last week’s trip to Hampden Park.

However, Ibrox boss Giovanni Van Bronckhorst revealed that neither would feature in the next three games, ahead of the final run-in for the Premiership title.

He said, “Ramsey, we will hopefully have him back around the Leipzig home game. We also had a problem with Roofe after the game with his knee; for him, it is the same out for some weeks and hopefully returns around the Leipzig home match. (Scottish Daily Express)

“With Morelos already out and now Kemar missing for a couple of weeks, we have less options upfront.”

Ange Postecoglou’s side has recently suffered an injury blow of their own, with full-back Josip Juranovic likely to miss out on the next couple of weeks at least.

And that is no new feeling for this squad, having had to deal with injury issues all season, with the Celtic boss earning almost no luck on that front.

Despite players such as Ramsey and Roofe being out, the message won’t change from Ange. If we play our football, that is what will win us the game, which could determine who takes home the title in the final few games of the season.
