Celtic may have only seen a small glimpse of Robbie Keane, but what they got was electric.
Keane scored 16 goals in 19 games for Celtic during a loan spell in Glasgow before playing for the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool.
When the Republic of Ireland legend signed for the Hoops in January 2010, Keane claimed that he had grown up as a boyhood fan and had always wanted to play for Celtic.
But, that’s not entirely true and the striker once admitted who he really supports.

Who did Robbie Keane support growing up?
It’s become a cliche for players to say it was their dream to play for a club and Keane was certainly guilty of saying this.
From claiming it was his dream to play in the MLS to wearing the green and white, the forward told the Sky Sports Football Show via The Sun in 2010 that he was actually a Liverpool fan.
He said: “I just love football!
“I think it was clear to see that I was a Liverpool fan so I was very, very fortunate to have had the opportunity to have played with them.”
Despite fulfilling his lifelong ambitions of playing at Anfield, Keane only spent one year at Liverpool before returning to Tottenham and then joining Celtic two years later.
How Robbie Keane really felt about playing for Celtic
While Keane was a prolific goal scorer, his time coincided with a poor period for the club as Rangers dominated the proceedings.
He would return to Paradise as the captain of Ireland in 2014 to take on Scotland in a friendly and was able to reflect on his period at the club.
“The whole experience of Celtic was great. Coming from London and getting off that plane and coming to Celtic Park and there were 5,000 people there was one of the best feelings I could ever get as a player,” he told the club website.
“Just walking out and putting that green and white jersey on was amazing too. From start to finish for me it was great and I enjoyed every minute.”
