Celtic midfielder Tom Rogic’s agent has denied reports linking the player with a move to England.
The Sydney Morning Herald claimed that both Leicester City and Southampton were interested in the player, and were willing to pay a record fee for an Australian player.
Rogic’s agent Daniel Berman has dismissed the report out of hand.
“I’ve had no contact from Southampton or Leicester,” Berman said, as revealed by the World Game.
“Tom is on a long contract, is winning trophies, respects and loves the institution that is Celtic Football Club.”

Berman’s comments will set the minds of the Celtic support at ease.
They would have been worried, particularly regarding the like with Leicester City. Brendan Rodgers could well have wanted to sign Rogic and reunite with the player in England.
However, Berman’s comments are very definitive in their response.
Would be a shock if Rogic departed
They are so definitive that it would come as a shock if Rogic did the leave the club in the summer.
Indeed, the only way it seems that Rogic could leave the Hoops would be if the club decided to sell him. Rogic still has a role to play for the club, so that seems unlikely.
Rogic can now concentrate on helping the Hoops win their third consecutive domestic treble. For now all the speculation about his future can be put to one side.
