Celtic attacker Jota has praised teammate Joe Hart for his fiery attitude and high standards this season, divulging the kind of chat that goes on inside the Bhoys dressing room.
Hart was visibly upset with his defence on Thursday night when Ferencvaros scored their second goal of the evening. It seemed he was upset with the time and space allowed to Myrto Uzuni, who curled in a beautiful effort past the Celtic goalkeeper.
After the game, Jota was asked about Hart’s passion for perfection, with the winger revealing that he can be just as fiery indoors after Celtic games.

As quoted by The Glasgow Times, the Portuguese talent said: “You think he looks scary? You should see him in the dressing room! He can shout at players but everything he does is to help the team. If there is something he needs to say or do then he will do it. It’s all for the good of the team.
“You sometimes see it in the heat of the moment on the pitch, when we are stressed. But when we get in the dressing room we are calm and we speak about things.
“We know what we want to do out on the pitch and I think the results speak for themselves at the moment.”
For me, these are exactly the kind of characters we need in the Celtic squad. Last season it seemed a lot of the players were entirely too passive about poor form and desperate results.
This season there’s a real energy about the players. They’re unafraid to show passion and get stuck into matches. They are backing each other up on the pitch but digging each other out when required. That’s what a real team does.
If Hart needs to liven some of his teammates up, as Jota says, it’s all with a view to making Celtic better. This is what Ange Postecoglou will have had in mind when signing the goalkeeper in the first place.
Long may it continue.
