Celtic goalkeeper Scott Bain believes there is 100 per cent pressure on the players at the club.

This comes after he helped seal an eighth consecutive league .

The unsung hero of the season came into the team due to the pressure put on Craig Gordon.

However, it looks like he and his team mates are handling it perfectly as they eye a treble treble.

This couldn’t be further from the truth as the club loves fighting against those who wish to beat them and to achieve more.

With Bain between the sticks, he has allowed the club to continue that dominance over others.

He says the pressure to win all the time is a constant force behind what is good at Celtic.

Bain told the Daily Record: “Across Europe, you don’t play with a team with more pressure on them than Celtic, 100 per cent.

“Time and time again this team just comes up trumps and shows how strong mentally they are.

“They are miles ahead of everyone in terms of their mental strength.”

The keeper praised his current club but also didn’t forget to mention his old side Aberdeen.

The Bhoys won the league on their Pittodrie patch at the weekend and it was bitter sweet for Bain.

He was let go as a youth for not being good enough and now he’s won a league title against them.

Bain said: “It’s amazing. I’ve come full circle. We beat Aberdeen in the League Cup Final and now we have secured the league title at Pittodrie.

“It shows a lot of young lads they shouldn’t listen to people, they should just listen to themselves.”

The ex-Hibs keeper will lead his side this weekend into a final match at Ibrox against Rangers.

A final win will be the icing on the cake before two matches against Hearts in the league and cup final.

Hopefully he will be the one lifting the cup against his former rivals on the final day.
