Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney is at the centre of transfer rumours which have so far dominated the summer transfer window.
However, there is one player who has not discussed transfers with the player – Hoops captain Scott Brown. Brown disclosed that the pair have talked during Celtic’s pre-season tour of Austria – but not about football.
“Stuck to the non-football chat”

“We’ve been going away on our bikes, but we’ve stuck to the non-football chat” Brown said, as reported by the Evening Times.
Brown then admitted that there’s nothing he or the club and do about rumours linking players with other clubs.
“The talk is part and parcel of the game. We’ll see what happens in the next couple of weeks.”

Speculation will continue
Brown is correct, speculation will always go on. And it will always go on about Tierney, as he has been massively successful for the Hoops since becoming a first-team regular.

Arsenal reportedly had a second bid for the player turned down on Friday, and until they meet Celtic’s valuation their bids will continue to be turned down.
As Brown says, the player’s future will be decided in the next few weeks. Celtic fans will be hoping that Tierney is still at the club past August. However, there could be decision to make if Arsenal finally match Celtic’s valuation of the player.
