Celtic captain Scott Brown has admitted that he would like to go into management when his Celtic career comes to an end.
Brown is currently taking his coaching badges with the SFA, and he disclosed to Sky Sports Scotland Twitter account that he sees himself as more of a manager than a coach.
“I like to dictate”

“I think manager” he said. “I like that bit of authority. I like to dictate what happens. I like to do that in the game. I would hopefully, maybe one day, have the opportunity to do that as a manager.”
It would be interesting to see Brown as a manager. Judging by his comments, he wants his managerial style to copy his playing style.
In other words, he wouldn’t suffer any fools. He would be the man in charge. It sounds a bit similar to Neil Lennon’s managerial style.

Could join coaching staff?
Perhaps Brown can join Lennon’s coaching staff at Celtic once the Hoops skipper hangs up his boots as a player. That is what Lennon did after he retired, he joined Gordon Strachan’s coaching staff.

Could Brown do the same? Celtic would no doubt like to have him around the club when he retires. His vast experience would be useful in coaching Celtic’s youth players for example.
The thought of Scott Brown as Celtic manager one day is certainly an intriguing one. Who knows, perhaps in the future it will happen. For now though, Brown will be focused on leading the Hoops to nine then 10 in a row.
