Celtic captain Scott Brown is officially back after he shaved off his lockdown hair prior to tomorrowโ€™s friendly against Nice in Lyon.

The club posted a training picture of the midfielder earlier today after months of an increasingly lengthy barnet.

Brown likes to keep his look short and intimidating for Celtic matches and his familiar shaved head is an amusing sign that the Bhoys are really ramping up preparations for the new season.

After the contest against Nice, Neil Lennonโ€™s team will face Lyon and Paris Saint-Germain in tough warm-ups for the Scottish Premiership campaign.

Itโ€™ll be a real test of the progress made so far in pre-season.

The squad have been hard at work for over a month, first in self-isolated individual training then in group work at both Lennoxtown and Loughborough University.

Lennon is setting high standards, having already left some first-team players in Scotland because they are not up to the required fitness.

Fans will be keen to see what kind of form the team is in, with the matches being broadcast live on Celtic TV and Premier Sports.

The captain will be desperate to show he has what it takes to lead the team towards an unprecedented tenth title in a row.

Celtic supporters were absolutely loving the training picture, taking to Twitter today to share their thoughtsโ€ฆ
