Scott Brown might have won a host of trophies in his time at Celtic. However, he has a message for the rest of Scottish football. He isn’t finished winning yet.
“Hopefully more trophies”
“The treble treble has been phenomenal and hopefully I have couple of years left in me, hopefully more trophies as well” he said, as revealed by the Celtic Twitter account.

Brown might be coming towards the end of his footballing career. You have to imagine that the current contract he has at the club might be his last. However, he is still a vital player for Celtic. When it comes to the big games, he starts every one, which is some achievement for a man who is 34.
The most recent was the 2-1 Europa League win over Lazio. He helped dragged the Hoops back into the game to come from behind to achieve a notable victory.
Captain has an excellent attitude
It is a testament to Brown’s attitude that he still wants to win as many trophies as possible before the end of his career. He has won the last nine domestic trophies available, yet he still wants to win more. He will be desperate to add a fourth successive Betfred Cup to his collection of winners’ medals, you can bet he will start against Hibs in Saturday’s semi-final.
Brown has won so many trophies with Celtic – 19 trophies – that he deserves to go down in history as one of Celtic’s biggest ever legends. His attitude towards winning is a big reason for that.
