Scott Brown has delivered some Celtic farewell messages to Tom Rogic and Nir Bitton as their Parkhead careers came to an end yesterday.
The Hoops duo will both leave the club now that the current campaign is over. The respective decisions were announced by the club last week and it brings an end to an era of success for the duo since their arrivals in 2013.
8 of them were spent under former captain Scott Brown in what was a trophy-laden period for the club. And Broony, who is now the new manager of Fleetwood Town, was quick to send some heart-warming messages their way ahead of their departures.

The trio basked in an incredibly memorable period for the football club and have made sensational contributions to the cause over the years.
As for where they go next, there have been no announcements as of yet as to what steps either man will take. Nir has been consistently linked with clubs in his homeland but has refuted suggestions of going back to Israel at the moment.
Rogic, meanwhile, has also confirmed that he won’t be returning to Australia just yet. It’ll be interesting to see where both end up.
Tom Rogic and Nir Bitton receive fitting send-off from their former Celtic captain
It’s difficult to put into words just how much of an impact both men made at this football club. Rogic and Bitton are synonymous with an era at Parkhead that won’t ever be forgotten. An era in which we had undisputed dominance of Scottish football – with both men central to that.
Bitton always looked likely to depart when his contract expired of course. Given his lack of starts in more recent months, it made sense for him to look ahead at what’s next.
Rogic, however, came as more of a shock. He’s been an influential figure of the campaign and has been rejuvenated under Ange Postecoglou. It looked as though he was set for another crack at Champions League football too. It was all made up for him here.

But in the end, the decision has been arrived at that it’s time for him to take a different step. Going out on a high is crucial at times to certain players’ legacy and how it’s remembered. Clearly, Rogic felt satisfied after winning the title back from Ibrox.
As for Broony’s messages, you wouldn’t expect anything less of the former Celtic captain. He was close with both players during his own time in Glasgow and he’ll no doubt have been emotional himself at hearing the news.
All the best to Tom and Nir wherever they end up – we’ll certainly be keeping close tabs on them.
