Celtic are in the middle of one of their worst injury crises for a long time.

Hoops assistant manager Chris Davies revealed on the club’s official Twitter account that an entire team of players are out.

Three players suffered injuries in the recent win over St Johnstone – Odsonne Edouard, Mikael Lustig and James Forrest.

As a result of this, it’ll be almost a shadow squad which takes to the pitch against Hibernian on Wednesday night.

Celtic will need all their experience players to show leadership, such as Scott Brown and especially Scott Sinclair.

Sinclair will need to use all of his experience to help the Hoops come through what is sure to be a difficult few weeks.

He is one of the few forwards at the club currently fit, so a lot of responsibility will be placed on him.

It will be interesting to see if Brendan Rodgers decides to play Sinclair up-front in the upcoming game against Hibernian.

He has played there on the odd occasion for the Hoops in the past.

He is far more effective on the wing though, and despite not having the best of seasons he has still scored 13 goals.

Sinclair has seen and done it all for the Hoops in the last three seasons.

The pressure won’t phase him like it could more inexperienced players.

He still has to turn in good performances though, starting against Hibernian.
