The wait goes on for Celtic to appoint a new manager.
On Monday evening, Celtic announced that Martin O’Neill will remain in charge for the St Mirren match on Saturday evening.
Amid all the talk around Wilfried Nancy becoming Celtic’s next manager, some fans are starting to question whether the Frenchman will be the next man through the door, given the delay.
But whilst some supporters have previously dreamed of Bodø/Glimt coach Kjetil Knutsen coming to Glasgow, journalist Roger Hannah has stated that he expects everything still to go to plan with Nancy, despite that Celtic statement.

Kjetil Knutsen hopes played down as the wait goes on for Celtic’s next manager
Make no bones about it, if, for one reason or another, this Nancy deal falls through, then fans will want a manager of Knutsen’s calibre through the door.
There are some questioning if other managers could be in the pipeline, following Celtic’s statement on O’Neill staying on.
But Hannah stated that he ‘doesn’t get the vibe’ that Knutsen will come in, even if he is on Celtic’s managerial list.
Speaking on Clyde 1 Superscoreboard, the Scottish journalist added that he expects Nancy to become Celtic’s next permanent manager.
“I think Celtic will be doing due diligence on a lot of people,” said Hannah. “I am sure feelers would have gone out to various people, who will be on various lists at the club.
“Kjetil Knutsen must be amongst them. I don’t get the vibe that, and I don’t know the reason, that Kjetil Knutsen will be coming to Celtic.
“I do get the vibe that Wilfried Nancy will be coming to Celtic. Maybe not today or tomorrow. But I think he will be the next permanent manager.”
