Sead Haksabanovic is enjoying his debut season at Celtic and this weekend is likely to have another starting chance in Ange Postecoglou’s team to face Motherwell.

Jota and James Forrest are not expected to be available for the visit of the Steelmen, while Liel Abada has resumed group training but is unlikely to start cold after weeks out of action.

That leaves Haksabanovic with potentially another opportunity to impress from the start of a fixture, having shown his most vibrant form for the Bhoys of late coming off the bench. He netted goals against Hibernian and Hearts last month as a substitue, taking his goal tally for the season to five in all competitions.

Celtic club media puts focus on Sead Haksabanovic

Taking part in a new question and answers video with official club media today, supporters got a bit more insight into the summer signing and how he is settling into Scotland.

Asked about his popular hip-dancing celebration that lights up Celtic Park, the Montenegrin international said: “I like to dance a lot. I’d done it a couple of times before I came here. It’s nice to express myself in that way.”

And his best mates at Celtic? Haksabanovic answered: “There’s a lot of them but as I know Joe Hart and Carl Starfelt from before, I would say one of them. But I have become close to a lot of them here.”

His answer to his favourite thing about Scotland was the most straightforward with the attacker responding: “Obviously, Celtic Park.”

Haksabanovic also goes into Henrik Larsson being his idol, is presented with a picture of a cake with his face on it and reckons a nice pasta dish is his ultimate meal. You can watch the full video on Celtic’s official YouTube channel.

Hopefully, the real video highlights from the 23-year-old this week come in the former of a stellar showing in the Scottish Premiership against Motherwell, with the Bhoys so close to securing yet another league title.

In other news, Michael Nicholson and Celtic officials travel to South Korea as summer excitement builds.
