Celtic’s season has been so successful so far that there are players sitting on the sidelines that ordinarily would walk into any team in the SPFL.
The strength of our bench is an indicator of just how good the first team are playing right now and the fact that players like Sead Haksabanovic cannot get into the starting line up.
The Montenegrin international was signed in the summer as Ange Postecoglou looked to beef up his attacking options in the squad.

One year into a five-year deal, Haksabanovic has found himself starting from the bench more often than even he would like to admit but in an interview with Celtic TV the 24-year-old says he is happy with life at the club, “We are just happy we won the [derby] game.
“Hopefully, we can we will keep going and winning games and at the end of the season we can do something good for the fans. I’m enjoying myself.
“As I’ve said before, I know there’s more to come and I’m just going to wait until I get my chance so I can start games and then there is more to come.
“But I’m very happy to be here. I know we have a good squad of players so I’m just waiting for my time. I’m training hard and improving myself.”

Haksabanovic has got real potential for Celtic
Haksabanovic has appeared thirty-two times for Celtic this season, scoring five goals.
He has started just five times in the league but has proven his worth with two outstanding goals against Hearts and Hibs last month.
With the form of Jota and Daizen Maeda keeping him out of the starting eleven, he has no choice but to wait for his chance.
There is no doubt he is a talented player and the Celtic fans will be looking forward to seeing what he can do when he finally gets an extended run in the team.
