Celtic fans have today been reacting on Twitter to an apparently leaked image of our new third kit.

The Scottish Sun has posted the images online, claiming that the apparent strip has been speculated as being our new third kit.

The shirt itself is mostly grey with a downward pink arrow below the Dafabet logo. It’s certainly not the most eye-pleasing of shirts we’ve ever had. And for it to be leaked on the same day as the yellow away kit goes on sale, it definitely isn’t up to scratch.

Supporters have been giving their reaction to the kit this afternoon. Here’s a look at some of the fan base’s views of the jersey.

Has there been a worse-looking third kit?

It’s important to bear in mind that this hasn’t been confirmed. These are simply leaked images that have taken social media by storm. The club certainly hasn’t made any form of announcement as of yet.

According to the Sun, we’re due to launch another kit soon. It looks as though fans will just be dreaming it’s not that one. It only extends a bit of a ropey relationship between New Balance and the Celtic supporters.

NB have struggled to make quality Celtic gear over the years. The away shirts, in particular, have been poor since we agreed a deal with them back in 2015.

But perhaps none of the jerseys released would be as ugly as this one. It doesn’t exactly scream Celtic, does it? Granted, we’ve had a few odd third kits in our time, but it’s difficult where to even start with this. It’s just wrong for us on so many levels.

It’s not so much having the pink in the jersey that will annoy fans. We already had to endure the pink away strip of 2017/18 after all. It’s more the combination and the design of the pink section.

In any case, before we get too carried away, this hasn’t been confirmed as previously mentioned. Hopefully, it never will either.
