Celtic’s trip to take on St Mirren at the SMISA Stadium next month has been moved to Sunday 18th of September after being selected for TV by Sky Sports.
The Bhoys were set to make their first trip to Paisley of the season towards the end of next month, with the game initially taking place on Saturday 17th of September, kicking off at 3 PM.
However, on Tuesday afternoon Sky Sports confirmed that the scheduling of Celtic’s fourth away visit in the league had been moved to the following day.

The game will now instead kick off at 12 PM on Sunday 18th of September, with supporters able to tune in to watch Ange Postecoglou’s side in action on Sky Sports.
The Hoops are preparing to enter a busy period of games, with the fixture schedule ramping up in the coming weeks due to the club’s involvement in Scottish Premiership, Champions League and cup action.
Postecoglou and his squad face the task of taking the short trip over the M8 to take on St Mirren next month, following their match-up against UCL Group F opponents, Shakhtar Donetsk, in Poland the Wednesday previous.
Following the conclusion of the St Mirren game, the majority of the Hoops squad will go their separate ways to join up with their international sides for the fixtures set to take place during the break at the end of September.
But, before that international break, Ange Postecoglou and his squad will be hoping to keep up their impressive momentum with some huge games to come next month.
A trip to St Mirren has proven that it can be a difficult test, drawing on several occasions over the last few years. So, the Celtic manager will be hoping to see his squad fully firing ahead of the match-up.

Sky Sports provide Celtic fan boost after latest away allocation cut.
With the recent news that St Mirren had cut the Celtic away allocation to just one stand at the SMISA Stadium, I am sure this announcement will come as welcome news for those who can’t make the trip to Paisley.
We have already seen the impact of the 3 PM blackout for an away game this season, with fans left with no way to watch the Hoops’ trip to Ross County earlier this month.
In this day and age of football, that should never be the case. But thankfully, this will provide the supporters with an opportunity to tune into Ange Postecoglou’s side as they take on St Mirren.
So far this season, watching the Bhoys on their travels has been very entertaining for the Celtic support, having produced emphatic 5-0 and 9-0 victories over the likes of Kilmarnock and Dundee United.
The Celtic manager will be hoping his side can keep up that form before their next away visit in the league, with a further five fixtures to take place before we have to worry about St Mirren towards the end of next month.
