Slavia Prague defender Vladimir Coufal has stated that his side will be cheering on Celtic against Cluj over the next seven days.

The Hoops have today been drawn against Prague in the Champions League playoff round. However, that will only be the case if Neil Lennon’s side can see off Cluj in the third qualifying tie.

As expected, Celtic Park will be at capacity for both of the qualifying ties if we make it. The famous Parkhead atmosphere will hopefully be used by Celtic as a tool for inspiration in next week’s second-leg.

And for Coufal, that world-famous atmosphere of Celtic Park is what will make the Czechs cheer us on. Here’s what the defender has stated according to the Daily Record.

“The draw that came out is fantastic for me, and many people wanted Celtic.

“A match at Celtic Park would be something unbelievable, a special day for us all. I hope Celtic will qualify against Cluj and we will have an opportunity to play in Scotland. In any case it’s good that we start away.

“The match at Celtic Park would be unreal as it’s one of the best in the world. That would be a feast for everyone. We will definitely cheer Celtic. I believe in them more than Cluj, although I don’t know what to expect from the Romanians.”
