The Celtic players looked happy to get back to work despite a cold and grey Lennoxtown on Friday, as the squad started their preparations for the second half of the season.
Manager Brendan Rodgers gave his team more than a week off following the early January win over St Mirren in the Scottish Premiership, allowing them to refresh and regroup for a massive push towards league and cup glory.
Now, with Buckie Thistle arriving at Celtic Park in nine days, the Bhoys are back in the training groove and the club posted some footage from Lennoxtown to their Celtic TV platform.
New staff involved at Celtic training
It shows the players in good spirits getting back onto the pitches and being introduced to new coach Adam Sadler, who has replaced new Yokohama F.Marinos boss Harry Kewell as part of Rodgers’ backroom team.
Sadler was immediately making his presence felt too, with a later clip showing him barking instructions about not taking the easy way out in possession and looking for ‘central combinations’ between players.
The video also shows the players taking part in the notorious ‘beep test’, which measures the fitness of the returning group after their relaxation spell.

As of yet, there are no new players involved in the training work with Celtic yet to complete any incoming transfer business.
However, winger Nicolas Kuhn could well be joining up with the Bhoys as early as next week, with the club reported to be very close to agreeing a £2.8m deal with Rapid Vienna.
Everyone is hoping he won’t be the only new arrival with Rodgers needing several quality additions to really push this group on to significant success.
