Celtic look likely to sign a kit deal with sports manufacturer Adidas, according to an exclusive report from kit specialist website FootyHeadlines.com.

It’s said Neil Lennon’s team will soon be lining up in the iconic three-stripe brand, with Footy Headlines citing a club insider in their report.

The website has a good track record of publishing leaked images of kits from a variety of clubs around the world, so while the Adidas partnership is yet to be confirmed, fans are already starting to get excited about what it might mean.

Celtic have been with New Balance since the start of the 2015/16 season, with their kits finding a mixed reception amongst supporters.

From the highs of 2017/18’s gold-trimmed home jersey to the horrendous lows of this season’s grey and pink away effort, they’ve certainly brought some original designs.

However, Adidas are seen as a premium sports brand and it’d be fascinating to see what they could do with our traditional green and white hoops.

The German multinational already kit out some of the biggest teams in the world including Real Madrid, Manchester United and Juventus.

The financial aspect of the deal will also be of interest to fans, with no reports yet how much any partnership might be worth to the club.

These supporters have taken to Twitter today to share their thoughts on the potential link up…
