Some Celtic fans are revisiting the commentary coming from Ibrox in-house club outlet Rangers TV in the wake of December’s derby at Celtic Park.

After our visitors emerged as 2-1 victors from the encounter, there were understandably scenes of celebration coming from the Rangers benches.

However, with Steven Gerrard screaming into a camera and Rangers TV commentator Tom Miller going overboard on the club’s match commentary, they arguably took things a bit far and their antics have been looked at again almost two months down the line.

Big fan account ‘CelticBible’ posted a clip to Twitter yesterday, sparking much hilarity amongst Celtic supporters who can’t get enough of the outburst with the benefit of hindsight.

The commentary on Rangers TV post-match stated: “McGregor, Griffiths, Brown – you may have had your own way in recent seasons. Look at your face, look to your laurels.

“We’re back, we’re back with a bang! And we’re coming after you, we’re coming after you. Glasgow is red, white and blue.”

The Ibrox side meanwhile have fallen away dramatically and are now 12 points behind the league leaders, despite being just two points behind in the wake of the derby.

Although Lennon will be drilling into his players that there is still plenty of work ahead before anyone can celebrate title success, it’s looking increasingly likely that ‘nine-in-a-row’ is on the way.
