Celtic attacker Lewis Morgan has completed his move to MLS side Inter Miami.

The Hoops’ official Twitter account made the announcement that the winger has left the Hoops after two years at Celtic.

Morgan didn’t feature that often for the Hoops in his time at the club, making only 31 appearances for the club after joining from St Mirren.

Had a run of games in team before exit

Interestingly, he had a run of games in the side just before his exit, as he started – and scored – in the Europa League win over Rennes, and the Betfred Cup Final against Rangers.

However, he has elected to move to America, and he will no doubt go with the best wishes of the Celtic support.

Some Celtic fans on social media have reacted to the club’s Tweet about Morgan.

The comments were split between fans wishing the player well on his departure, and others asking the Hoops to sign some players as the transfer window enters its’ closing stages.

Here are some of the best reactions from Celtic fans to Morgan’s exit:

The Hoops really do need to bring in a winger, now that Morgan’s departure has been confirmed.

Hoops need to sign replacement

Both Morgan and Scott Sinclair have left Celtic in the January window, and as yet neither has been replaced.

Celtic have tried to sign a winger on deadline day, but Sky Sports transfer centre (31/01 17:46) reported that Christian Atsu rejected the chance to move to the club to stay at Newcastle.

Hopefully Celtic are able to sign a replacement for Morgan before the deadline day transfer window slams shut.
