Celtic’s Neil Lennon was deservedly named as the Premiership manager of the month for February earlier on Friday.
The Hoops boss led his side to a 100% league record last month, a run of results which allowed Celtic to move clear at the top of the league table.
It is hard to believe now, as Celtic sit 13 points clear at the top of the Premiership, that back in December after the derby loss to Rangers it looked as if Celtic were going to be in the middle of a very tight title race.
Manager has taken team to another level
Since then though, the Hoops have been on another level to the rest of Scottish football. Credit for that has to go to Neil Lennon and his players, who have helped the Hoops build what, at the moment looks to be an unassailable lead at the top of the Premiership.

However, Lennon won’t be taking Celtic winning nine in a row for granted. Indeed, he will be focused on taking one game at a time, starting with the league game against St Mirren on Saturday.
Still, that didn’t stop the club from marking the latest honour received by Lennon on social media.
Some Celtic fans on social media were also impressed that Lennon was given the accolade for last month’s run of results.
“So deserved”
One fan called the Hoops boss a ‘hero’. Another claimed that the award was ‘so deserved’.
