Celtic fans don’t seem too keen to see the club in action in Europe next week, if social media is anything to go by.
The mood at the club seems to be at an all-time low after Tuesday night’s disaster against CFR Cluj. The 5-4 aggregate defeat means the Hoops parachute into the Europa League where they will face Swedish champions AIK.

The first leg is at Parkhead next Thursday and with so little time to sell tickets the club had to post details early on Friday morning. They probably reckoned they were on a hiding to nothing with the tweet. And as expected they received the wrath of their supporters on the social media platform.

Morale is incredibly low with the Celtic fans
Some of the replies above may be slightly humorous. However, the current state of play at Celtic is no laughing matter. We’re in a massive hole with the faith of fans really being put to the test.
The crowd for the home AIK clash is likely to be very low with many boycotting. That could set the tone for the season if big improvements aren’t made to the team by September 2nd.
Celtic are in a real hole right now and it’s difficult to see how they get out of it. Things look bleak
