Celtic 10 in a row heroes Harold Brattbakk and Simon Donnelly met up last night. The pair posed for a picture which was posted to Donnelly’s Twitter page.
The ex-Hoops striker even hashtagged the post #stoppedtheten. Celtic fans went crazy on social media, reacting to the two men who created club history in 1998.

But, they know how key they were to a rare part of 90s history for the club.
On that sunny day in 1998, the Celts stopped Rangers winning 10 consecutive league titles. Of course, Henrik Larsson netted first before Brattbakk came on and sealed all three points.

Donnelly was another key man in that season which helped the Hoops to their only league win in the 90s.
Donnelly, a surprise boyhood Rangers fan, put up a popular Twitter post last night with Brattbakk.

The pair will forever go down in Celtic folklore for helping preserve the Lisbon Lions’ league record.
However, the current side are edging mightily close to breaking it themselves. If they do, they will join the team who stopped the 10 as being icons for the Celtic support.
