Some Celtic fans react to Arsenal’s failed Kieran Tierney bid

Celtic fans don’t seem too keen at the possibility of Kieran Tierney leaving the club this summer. The Scotland full-back has been linked with a move to Arsenal in recent days.

The Gunners were reported to have had a £15million deal rejected for the 22-year-old. Celtic are said to be looking for far more than that amount.

And that viewpoint seems to be shared by the club’s supporters too, going by comments on social media.

These fans found Arsenal’s opening offer quite amusing.

Some other fans were looking to the future and their possible reaction if the fans favourite is sold. Tierney has played 170 times for the club over the past four seasons and most would be devastated to see him move on.

Fans reaction

It would be very interesting to see how fans would respond if Tierney was moved on this summer. Supporters care very little about finances and a hefty eight figure fee would do little to calm emotions.

The club will almost certainly have a figure in mind for selling the full-back. The sad reality is that every Celtic player in available as some price and Tierney will be no different.
