With football currently in shutdown, it is interesting to hear what the players make of the situation. One Celtic player broke his silence about the situation late on Friday – Hoops centre-back Christopher Jullien.
Jullien took to Twitter to give his thoughts on the football shutdown.
“See you soon”
“See you soon my people, meanwhile take care of yourself and your families” he said, followed by the hashtag ‘football will be back’.

It is no doubt an odd situation for the player, and his teammates at Celtic. They should be getting ready to take on Rangers at Ibrox on Sunday, and instead they don’t know when they will be in action again.
Hopefully though, as Jullien suggests, ‘football will be back’. It is only a case of knowing when that will happen, and the authorities will make the decision on that front.
Still, Jullien has enjoyed a very successful first season with the Hoops, helping the team go clear at the top of the league, and chipping in with some vital goals, most notably against Lazio and Rangers.
Has earned winners medal
Only time will tell if he ends this season with a league winners medal, but if he does he has certainly earned it.
Some Celtic fans on social media responded to Jullien’s Tweet.
One fan urged the defender to ‘stay fit’, whilst another claimed that he was already missing the player on the pitch.
Here are some of the best reactions from Twitter to Jullien’s message to the Hoops support:
Miss you already x
