Celtic posted a Tweet on the club’s official account early on Friday morning, celebrating the fact that Tom Rogic signed for the club on this day in 2013.

It is hard to believe that the player has spent seven years at Celtic, and it has to be said that the £400,00o the Hoops paid Central Coast Mariners for the player has to go down as one of the great bargains of the last 10 years.
Rogic’s finest moment in the Hoops has to be his injury time winning goal against Aberdeen in the 2017 Scottish Cup Final, which secured the invincible treble.
Some Celtic on social media have reacted to the Hoops’ post on Twitter. One fan called Rogic ‘an all-time favourite.’ Another fan made the plea ‘don’t let him leave’.

What is most interesting about the Tweets above are the ones calling on the player to be restored to the first-team.
Rogic has not been a regular for the Hoops this season. Indeed, he has made only 11 appearances for Neil Lennon’s side.
Lack of apperances this season is surprising

That is a touch surprising when you consider how influential he can be when he is at his very best.
It will be intriguing to see what the future holds for Rogic at Celtic. It is highly unlikely that the Hoops will sell the player in January, he is too valuable to the squad.
However, should he continue to rarely feature for the Hoops, then the player and the club might have a decision to make.
Judging by the reaction of some Tweets about the player, it would not be the most popular decision should Rogic leave Celtic. Hopefully he features more in the second-half of the season. That will end any talk of the player moving on from the club.
