The Celtic support seem pretty pleased at the fact that Ronny Deila and Gary Mackay-Steven have been reunited at New York City – judging by the replies from some Hoops fans to a social media post.
Earlier today, we told you how the MLS club had posted a lovely image of the pair being “reunited” in the States.
And despite the post being intended for a mainly American audience, it is the Celtic support who seemed to take most joy out of it as they took over the replies.
Here are the best responses we came across from some of the Hoops faithful.

Deila and Mackay-Steven are liked because of their manner
There’s something rather touching about seeing two Celtic favourites still getting on away from the club.
It’s like when two departed members of the ‘Invincible’ team go for a coffee or play against each other for their new clubs. It’s just rather nice.
Neither Deila nor Mackay-Steven will be remembered as Celtic greats. However, they did give their all for the club and always gave a good account of themselves off the pitch too.

That’s why there was such a nice reaction to the image posted by New York City.
The Celtic support want good people to do well, even if they’re no longer associated with Celtic.
Our New York duo certainly fit into that category.
