Some Celtic fans have given the thumbs up on Patryk Klimala after his first-ever start for the club on Sunday afternoon.

The Polish forward had come off the bench three times prior to today’s Scottish Cup encounter away to Clyde but was trusted by Neil Lennon for the first time to lead our attack.

He’ll have been disappointed to miss a golden chance one-on-one with the Clyde goalkeeper in the first half but overall fans saw signs of a player that can eventually make a big impact at the Hoops.

In difficult conditions at Broadwood, he managed to link up well with his teammates at times, also showing good pace and movement off the ball.

He also coped decently with the physical nature of the Clyde defence, dusting himself down from a few meaty challenges and persevering.
