Only time will tell if the Hoops get a deal for Wanyama done. He would certainly be a high-profile signing, perhaps more high-profile than any deadline-day signings for a while at Celtic Park.

Could be a welcome addition to squad

If he can recapture the form he displayed in his first spell at Celtic, then Wanyama would be a more than welcome addition to the Hoops squad.

Hopefully the deal gets done, and Wanyama is announced at Celtic Park tonight. That would be a very good ending to the transfer window for the Scottish champions.
