Tom Rogic’s return to the Celtic first-team continued with another big display at Pittodrie.
The Aussie was part of a slick Hoops side who bossed the Dons to win 4-0 in an originally tough-looking contest in the Granite City.

Rogic made his third 90-minute appearance this season in the game, and also nabbed an assist. It’s a notable increase in game-time for Rogic compared to what he was used to under Brendan Rodgers. Lenny seems to trust the Wizard of Oz to produce for the full duration of matches. That alone will be a massive shot in the arm for him.
But after getting another 90 minutes under his belt and playing a key role in Celtic’s fine build-up play, fans are seriously onside with him. Here’s a look at some of the fan reaction to his performance yesterday.

Rogic expertly silences critics with big display
It was only just over 48 hours ago that Chris Sutton said there was “no way back” for Rogic when it came to winning his spot back (Daily Record). Fast-forward a couple of days and Tam has just put in a brilliant display to dismiss that idea.
It only takes an injury to Ryan Christie to give Tom that opening again. He’s always an injury away from getting a run in the side once again.

Also, it makes no sense to dismiss his chances in the side from here on in. What do we have to benefit from that kind of thinking? Rogic will play such a key role between now and the end of the season, and many would agree. Neil Lennon will have every belief in him to win his place in the side back one again.
Whether that happens or not is up for debate, but Rogic answered some critics today. He’s back from his injury and looks set to make a battle of it for the number 10 spot.

All eyes are now on who starts against St Mirren on Wednesday night. The temptation to go with Rogic again must be there for Lenny. At the weekend, we face Hibernian in the Betfred Cup semi-finals. Therefore, it’s imperative we overcome the Hibees to take one step closer to our 10th consecutive domestic trophy.
That would mean playing our best side, which still involves Christie. So that hopefully gives Tom the chance to continue his fine form during the week. This is the kind of squad rotation that Lenny needs to make. And that’s good news for our Aussie star.
